Anatomy Of Thymus
- It is a lymphatic organ present in the superior mediastinum of thorax.
- This organ will be present only upto the age of puberty afterwards it will regress.
- It is covered by a capsule. It will sent septa into the interior, which are called as trebeculae.
- These are dividing the organ into lobules.
- Within each lobule, outer corted and inner medulla is present.
- The medulla of lobules is continous with adjacent lobule.
- In the medulla, the hassals corpuscle is present.
