Anatomy Of Nephron
- Nephron is the structural and functional unit of kidney.
- Each kidney contain about one million nephrons
Parts of a Nephron :
- Bowman’s capsule which contains glomerulus
- Proximal convoluted tubule.
- Loop of Henle.
- Distal convoluted tubule.
- Collecting ducts.
- The collecting ducts will pass through the medulla and open into the minor calyxes.
- Arterial Supply : Renal Artery.
- Venous Drainage : Renal Vein.
- Lymphatic Drainage : Para aortic group of lymph nodes.
- Nerve Supply : Sympathetic and Para sympathetic.
