Nose Bleeding First Aid Treatment
Support the person in a comfortable sit up straight position. Do not the person lie down or bend the head backward
Pinch the nostrils ( Just below the nose bone ) close together with the thumb and index fingers for 10-15 minutes. Ask him to open his mouth and breath through it.
If ice is available - wrap it in a handkerchief and apply it across the bridge of the nose. If a clear fluid is coming out mixed with blood following an injury do not close the nose to stop it.
