Sun Stroke is a life threatening condition. occur due to more exposure to sun light.
Tips to follow to avoid Sun Stroke
1. Drink Plenty of fluids :
- Take a curd, butter milk and fruit juices in the diet.
- Eat seasonal fruits like water melons.
( It help to prevent the dehydration. ) - Avoid caffeine, alcohol, Sugar drinks these drinks dehydrates.
- Avoid the spice food and hot drinks ( Tea, Coffee ).
- Try to avoid eating oily foods and fast foods.
- Drink adequate water.
- Carry a bottle of water and lemon juice to keep you hydrated.
2. Protect the skin :
- Apply sun screen half an hour before going to sun stroke.
- During travelling time wear a scarf to protect you face and head from the heat.
- If it day time wear sun glasses.
Risks for :
- Elderly ages
- Pregnant Mothers
- Children's
- Chronic illness ( CKD, Cardiovascular disease )
First Aid for Sun Stroke :
1. Change the person from hot environment to cool area.
2. Remove extra dress
3. Call near emergency services
