DOBUTAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE

INDICATIONS :

• Parenteral therapy for inotropic support in the short term treatment of adults with cardiac decompensation.

DOSAGE :

• 2.5-10 ug/kg/min.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS :

• Acute myocardial infarction

• Paediatrics : Dose to be reduced

• Pregnancy : use only, If clearly indicated

• Lactations : use only, If clearly indicated.

• Elderly : Use with caution.

SIDE EFFECTS :

• Increased heart rate

• blood pressure

• ventricular ectopic activity

DRUG INTERACTIONS :

• Nitropruside
