Transpacer

Device Information :

          Transpacer is an add on device to Transhaler, designed for optimum benefit of the released medicine to be taken to deep lungs.

          Transpacer has a holding chamber into which the aerosol cloud is collected and held for few seconds before inhalation of the medication.

           The transpacer has the advantages of cutting down on the throat and mouth deposition thereby enhancing useful therapeutic dose.

How to use your Transpacer :

1.Remove the protective cap from the mouthpiece of the transhaler. Shake the inhaler well.
2. Place the transhaler firmly into the opposite end of the transpacer.
3. Holding the transhaler, press down on the canister to release a dose into the transpacer.
4. Close your lips firmly around the mouthpiece to create a good seal as as shown above but do not bite. Inhale deeply through your mouth from the transpacer.

          Remove the transpacer from your mouth and hold your breath for 10 seconds, or for as long as is comfortable. Breathe out slowly. If a second dose is required, wait for at least one minute.

          Repeat steps 1 to 4.

Care and Cleaning of Transpacer :

          Transpacer is a see through, transparent device allowing the patient to evaluate and clean the device regularly.

Cleaning Procedure :

1.Seperate the interlocked, MDI Holder.
2.Rinse the inner body of the Transpacer with clean water and mild detergent solution.
3. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and keep the device for air drying in vertical position keeping mouth piece upwards.
4. Detachable silicon Spear-Head valve should be washed with clean water, and kept for drying. Ensure delicate handling.
5. Ensure transpacer is completely dry prior to use.

Note : Product should be replaced after 12 months of continuous use.

Caution : Do not push any cleaning duster or cloth within the spacer to dry as it may damage the device.
